Book Wyrm Review of Demon Thief by Darren Shan

Kernal Fleck could see lights. He could since he was a baby and simply assumed that everyone could too, until he started talking about them with his parents and friends. Immediately, as soon a they knew he could see lights that no one else could, he was labeled crazy by his friends. Kernal, now, has no friends. He has no where to go, and he spends his nights at home playing with the lights. Until one night, sad and lonely, his mind goes on autopilot and without any control over himself he begins to shove the lights together . It forms into a wall of light that becomes a window into another dimension. The winndow leads straight to the demented, killer Lord Loss and his home. Without any will of his own he steps through the widow and into a terrifying adventure.

Darren Shan has done it again! Demon Thief is an incredible book with mystery, and excitement. The book is very well written, usually a book will lose readers when it switches from one character that all the fans love to another, but the book is so well interwoven with the previous book that readers will come to enjoy the character Kernal Feck just as much as Grubbs Grady. This is a great book for those who love horror and demons.
