Book Wyrm Review of Wolf Island by Darren Shan

Grubbs Grady, Meera Falme, and Shark set off with nine others to find and capture Prea Athim. Prea has stolen hundreds of werewolves from the Lambs and set them on the island, and it appears that the mission will be simple. But the tables turn on them and Grubbs and his friends find themselves deep in the island's jungle surrounded by werewolves and no hope in sight. Can Grubbs do what he must and to save his friends or will he die trying?

Wolf Island was a very good book, it wasn't the best in the series, but was better then the previous book Death's Shadow. The only problem with Wolf Island was the begging. The begging had a similar problem as Deaths Shadow at first there was nothing new and interesting brought to the story. Luckily for the reader though the story quickly gets more and more interesting once the begging on hundred pages were past.

Book Wyrm Review of Death's Shadows by Darren Shan

The true enemy of humanity has showed his ugly face at last. He has gathered the demons together and is making preparations for the end of all of humanity. He has enough power to command the demon masters. He is only known as the Shadow because that is all that he appears be. It is Barnebas, Bec, Dervish, and Shamilla's mission to find who this creature is and maybe find a way to destroy him. In the end but they find more than they bargained for.

I was unimpressed by this expansion to the Demonata series. The book is well written, it has interesting character problems that allow people to relate more easily to the characters, but it was the same as all of the most of the other books. Their trying to escape, and monsters are chasing them. Now, there is a shocking sacrifice but other than that the book has the same story plot as most of the others. Hopefully the next book Wolf Island will be more original.

After Grubbs is saved by the three thousand year old magician, Grubbs ,Barnabas and Kernal Fleck go into the universe of the Demonata for some practise on killing demons with Grubbs. But, when they return they discover that a tunnel into the Demon universe has been open in Grubbs Gradys home town, Carery Vale. Hundreds of demons have poured through. Hundreds of people have died, thousands tortured. The Demon Apocalypse has come, and it looks like we've lost.

Wow. Demon Apocalypse is incredible this is by far the best book by Darren Shan yet. The suspense through out the entire book makes it a nail biter. The book is well written and exciting, I know those who read this book will love it. Absolutely, love it.

Until one night, during a sleep over with his friends, he awakes to find himself standing in his room howling to to the moon. Now Grubbs realizes to his horror that he has the family cures. Book Wyrm Review of Bec by Darren Shan

Bec is the fourth book in the Demonata Series. Bec has perfect memory. She can remember everything from her birth to the first thing she ate as a child was and how she thought it tasted. Bec had a happy life ,everyday she studied to be a priestess with Banba. Every night she went to sleep thinking of all of the new things she'd learned that day, and what she might do tomorrow. But, now the happy days are over because of the demons. One night the rath was attacked by demons. Many people were killed, but the rath managed to survive the night. Though now every night since then the demons come trying to destroy the rath and everything that Bec holds dear. The rath has barely manages to last the night, but soon they will fall. Luckily a glimmer of hope comes in the form of a boy with a simple mind and his master, a Druid named Drust who just may hold the key to stopping the demons forever.

Bec is anin credibly creative story filled with fear, excitement and death. Bec is definitely a book that will entertain. I'm very surprised that I enjoyed it ,because usually when an author decides to split a book series up into characters it ends dismally. The readers enjoy one character more than all of the others and end up having to wait several books before getting to hear from that character again. But, this writer is able to make all of her characters equally enjoyable so you come to love all of them. Bec is one of those kinds of books that I guarantee will be enjoyed by fans who love blood gore and monsters.
